TO COMPLETE BEFORE FIRST KICKAROUND!!!
All new players should fill out a new player interest form. You can find a copy of this form at the link below.
Before any player is allowed to attend any mandatory or non mandatory activities with us, they must have a current physical signed by a physician and uploaded in our system. This will be checked the first day they come to play, and they will be turned away if we do not have a current physical. You can find a copy of the physical at the link below.
Once the physical is complete and signed by a physician, please go to Arbiter at the link below, create an account (if new player) and upload the document. Once you upload the physical and complete the registration, you are finished.
This link will take you to a page for the 2025-26 school year. The system has not yet rolled over to the 2026-27 school year, so this link is correct. There is also a link on the page for the FCPS Consent for Outside Traceable Communications (Related to SB 181). This allows the coaches to contact the players outside of FCPS monitored communications. If you consent to this, please make sure this form is filled out. This makes it easier to communicate with the players for things like game day or practice change information.
Tryout Details
Tryouts will be split into a JV tryout and a varsity tryout. For the first day, we allow any player in 9th grade or above to tryout with the varsity but these players must also tryout with JV. During this first night, we will assess all 9th and 10th graders and determine whether the player will remain with varsity for the second night or if they will be asked to stay with JV for tryouts. At the end of the first night, I will announce the players that need to report to varsity tryouts for the second night.
Through the tryout process, we will form 3 teams.
JV Red - This is what is also known as our freshman team but includes 7th, 8th and 9th graders
JV Black - This is our main JV team and will include 9th and 10th graders
Varsity - This is our top team and can include 9th-12th graders
There will be opportunities for some 9th graders to play for both JV Red and JV Black and there may be opportunities for some players to be "swing" players for JV Black and varsity.
Please refer to the schedule below to make sure you are arriving at the correct time.

2026 Kickaround Dates
We will have a few kickarounds this summer for the boys to come out and scrimmage. These are very informal and we do very little coaching. We want to give the players an opportunity to meet each other, get used to high school soccer and have fun. They do not need to bring a ball, but please make sure your player brings plenty of water and is wearing shin guards.
All kickarounds will be 7:00-9:00 PM at Transy

Please note, the KHSAA has a mandatory "dead period" June 25 through July 9. During this time, coaches can have zero contact with players and their families. "The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) mandatory dead period was implemented to prevent athlete burnout and to curb the trend of year-round athletic participation. Established in the mid-1990s, the rule provides student-athletes, coaches, and families with a guaranteed window to take vacations and rest." If you contact me or any assistant coaches during this time, please know that we received your message but cannot reply until July 10.
